Todo ano é a mesma coisa. Junto com os vencedores do prêmio Eisner tem aquele efeito manada: a procura pelos quadrinhos lembrados pela premiação aumenta.
Não sem razão o Eisner é chamado de ‘Oscar’ da indústria de quadrinhos. Os dois jogam luz, com mérito ou não, sobre obras nem sempre tão lembradas.
A lista desta edição do Eisner, divulgada em 26 de julho, segue abaixo.
A brasileira Bilquis Evely foi lembrada como Melhor Desenhista, por Helen of Wyndhorn (Dark Horse). Nick Dragotta, que desenha o insano Absolute Batman (DC), também aparece na mesma categoria.
O arroz de festa (e ex-agente da CIA!) Tom King, além de ganhar como Melhor Roteirista, teve diversas HQs suas listadas, como a própria Helen of Wyndhorne e Wonder Woman, essa última como Melhor Série Contínua. Nessa mesma categoria, Detective Comics, por Ram V, Tom Taylor, também aparece.
A DC Comics, aliás, se deu bem na edição, abocanhando cinco premiações.
Entre os lembrados da Marvel temos Quarteto Fantástico e Ultimate Spider-Man, este último do Jonathan Hickman e Marco Checchetto.
