Na 74º edição do Globo de Ouro, neste domingo (8), aconteceu, em grande medida, o previsível: “La la land: Cantando estações” foi o grande vencedor da noite, com sete prêmios, inclusive melhor comédia ou musical. Os atores principais, Ryan Gosling e Emma Stone, também ganharam troféus por suas atuações.
Tudo isso é muito é legal, e estamos loucos para ver o filme, que mostra a aspirante a atriz Mia (Stone) e o músico de jazz Sebastian (Gosling) lutando por oportunidades em Los Angeles.
Da mesma forma é interessante que “The Crow” – produção da Netflix que narra a história da rainha Elizabeth II desde a morte de seu pai, em 1952 – tenha colocado para trás “Game of thrones”, “Stranger things”, “This is us” e “Westworld” e ganhado o troféu na categoria de melhor série de drama.
Mas mais importante que isso tudo, e até do fato de John Turturro não ter ganho por sua atuação em “The Night Of” (como assim!?), é o discurso que Meryl Streep fez ao receber o Cecil B. DeMille Award, prêmio pelo conjunto da obra.
